Our
Mission
The mission of the
credit union is to provide and promote the use of a variety of
financial services which feature particular benefits and
advantages over those generally available from other banking
sources. Our specific intent is to help members gain some
particular measure of personal financial success.
Membership
eligibility
-
Employees of the CNH Global, N.V. (f/k/a Case Corporation);
-
Employees and members of UAW Local 180;
-
Employees of The Journal
Times,
-
Persons residing or employed in the
Wisconsin Counties of Kenosha,
Racine, Walworth, Waukesha and Milwaukee.

Persons residing or employed in the
Illinois Counties of McHenry and Lake.
A public
depositor, any employee of this credit union, and any member of
the immediate family of any other eligible person may become a
member of the credit union in the manner provided in these Bylaws.
Any Organization or association may become a member of the
credit union if a majority of the shareholders, partners, members
or owners thereof are eligible for membership in the credit
union. Furthermore,
any trust may become a member of the credit union if a majority of
the persons who are settlor(s), trustee(s) and beneficiary(ies)
are eligible for membership in the credit union.
Membership
Rights and Requirements
Qualification
for membership in Horizon Credit Union requires a minimum one
share ($5.00) balance in a Regular Savings account. If the account
falls below this balance, membership is automatically forfeited.
Once a member has established and been approved for membership, he
or she is entitled to all of the benefits of membership, including
the rights to save, to borrow, to vote and to be elected to the
credit union's Board of Directors.
